Who we are

NorthMade is an independent creative studio based in Scotland, United Kingdom, led by Oliver Sheridon and supported by a network of creative collaborators and specialist partners. NorthMade is the controller of personal information submitted through this website.

Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we may collect your name, business name, email address, website or social profile, the service you are interested in and the information included in your message. We also receive limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the form from misuse.

Please do not submit bank details, identification documents, special-category information or other sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

How and why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, understand your requirements, prepare proposals, keep appropriate business records and protect the website from spam or misuse. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and our legitimate interests in operating and developing the business.

Services that process information

The website is delivered using Cloudflare, and enquiry submissions are processed by Formspree. These providers may process limited personal and technical information on NorthMade’s behalf under their own security and data-processing arrangements. Information may be processed outside the United Kingdom where appropriate safeguards apply.

How long we keep it

Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries are normally deleted within 24 months. Information connected with paid work may be kept longer where necessary for contracts, accounting, legal obligations or the handling of disputes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with service providers needed to run the website and communicate with you, professional advisers where necessary, or authorities where disclosure is legally required.

Cookies and analytics

NorthMade does not currently use advertising cookies or website analytics cookies. Essential security or delivery technologies may still be used by the hosting and form providers. This notice will be updated before any non-essential tracking is introduced.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to certain uses, or receive a portable copy. Contact privacy@northmadecreative.com to make a request.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will always appear on this page with its revision date.
